One building, four ways to be in Venice
The palazzo looks onto Campo San Giacomo dall’Orio, beside the bell tower of the oldest church in the sestiere. It is a true Venetian building: thick walls, an inner courtyard, staircases that show their age.
Inside, everything has been remade with restraint. Clean surfaces, natural light, materials that age well. No decoration pretending at a past: the past is already in the walls.

Santa Croce is the sestiere where the city remains itself: children playing in the campo, the shopping done at the market, a glass at the bacaro before dinner. Rialto is twelve minutes away, San Marco a little over twenty. But in the evening you come back here, where there is no queue to get home.
